Notes: Summary The circadian rhythm of liver esterase activity has been studied in rats maintained under highly standardized laboratory condition. They were housed in specially constructed climate rooms and subjected to an artificial 12∶12 light-dark regimen. The total esterase was further differentiated to A esterase (E.C. 1.1.2) by using E 600 (Paraoxan), and a circadian rhythm for this enzyme also has been observed. During the lowest phase of total esterase activity, the higher phase for organophosphate-resistant esterase activity was observed.

Notes: Abstract A good description of the single particle shell model states near the Fermi surface, after including core polarization correction, can be obtained by taking identical geometrical shapes for both central and spin orbit potential thus reducing the number of free parameters in the scattering analysis. This bary centric approach also reproduces the charge distribution admirably.

Notes: Abstract The fragmentations of the 3s 1/2, 2d 3/2, 2d 5/2 and 1.h 11/2 proton states were deduced using the hole-core coupling model calculation and compared with recent206Pb ( $$\vec d$$ ,3He) reaction data. The energies of the proton fragments carrying the main shell-model strengths were used to deduce the radial wave functions of205T1 and207Tl that give rise to charge distributions of these nuclei. From their respective charge distributions, root mean square radii of206Pb and208Pb were extracted.
