Abstract A $$3{\raise0.5ex\hbox{$\scriptstyle 1$}\kern-0.1em/\kern-0.15em\lower0.25ex\hbox{$\scriptstyle 2$}}$$ -year-old boy presented with recurrent episodes of severe abdominal pain, fever, and jaundice. During these episodes, his liver and gallbladder were enlarged and there was a left axillary soft-tissue swelling. Laparotomy revealed a retroperitoneal mass causing biliary obstruction. Biopsy of this mass and the axillary swelling was suggestive of Kimura's disease. Subsequently, the child developed a facioparotid mass typical of Kimura's disease. There was dramatic regression with steroids.
