Zusammenfassung Um die Prognose der Hodentumoren durch eine frühzeitigere Erkennung von Metastasen noch zu bessern, empfehlen die Verff. eine genaue histologische Differenzierung des Tumors, eine Lymphographie und eine straffere postoperative Kontrolle der orchiektomierten Patienten für die ersten 3–5 Jahre. Ein entsprechendes Untersuchungsschema wird vorgeschlagen.

Summary In order to further improve the prognosis of testicular tumours by early diagnosis of metastases, the authors recommend exact histological differentiation of the tumors, lymphography and closer postoperative control of patients who had orchitectomies for the first three to five years. The authors propose a suitable examination scheme.
