Description / Table of Contents:
Notes:
Summary The integrated static frequency as a function of temperature between 3 and 27°C was investigated in two populations of isolated mandibular ampullae of Lorenzini in dogfishes (Scylliorhinus canicula). One group of animals was previously adapted for two months to 4°C, the other group to 18°C. There was no significant difference in the temperature characteristics, the temperatures of the average static maxima being 19°C for both populations.
