    Notes: Zusammenfassung Die Arbeit stellt einen weiteren experimentellen Beitrag zur Enthüllung der elementaren Vorgänge im Selenphotoelement dar. Sie verfolgt im besonderen von verschiedenen Seiten den eigenartigen Temperatureinfluß, der in einer vorhergehenden Untersuchung festgestellt werden konnte, und sucht die Mannigfaltigkeit der hierhergehörigen Erscheinungen einheitlich zusammenzufassen. Es ergeben sich gewisse allgemeine, von den Besonderheiten der einzelnen Elemente unabhängige Eigenschaften, die als charakteristische Merkmale des photoelektrischen bzw. stofflichen Verhaltens des Selenphotoelements erscheinen und daher für das theoretische Verständnis desselben bedeutungsvoll sind.

    Description / Table of Contents: Summary A new method for the quantitative spectrophotometric determination of ethinylestradiol is described. It is based on the colour reaction of the steroid with anhydrous aluminium chloride in nitromethane and is specific in relation to decomposition products. An example for the determination of ethinylestradiol in tablets is shown.
    Notes: Zusammenfassung Es wird eine neue Methode zur quantitativen spektrophotometrischen Bestimmung von Äthinyloestradiol beschrieben. Sie basiert auf der Farbreaktion des Steroids mit wasserfreiem Aluminiumchlorid in Nitromethan und ist spezifisch in bezug auf Zersetzungsprodukte. Ein Beispiel für die Bestimmung von Äthinyloestradiol in Tabletten wird angeführt.
