Die antimikrobielle Aktivität von II bestätigt die Annahme, daß die 11.12-Dioxo-Gruppierung der Ringe C und B ein wichtiges aktives Zentrum der Tetracycline (I) ist.

    Notes: Durch Hydrazinhydrat wird 4′-Nitro-azobenzol-carbonsäure-(4)-äthylester zum 4′-Amino-azobenzol-carbonsäure-(4)-äthylester reduziert; Azobenzol- und 3′-Nitro-azobenzol-carbonsäure-(4)-äthylester werden zu den entsprechenden Hydraziden umgesetzt. Azobenzol-carbonsäure-(4)-hydrazid und dessen 3′-bzw. 4′-Nitro-Derivate reagieren leicht mit Carbonylverbindungen zu reversibel spaltbaren Hydrazonen. Die 4′-Nitro-azobenzol-carbonsäure-(4)-hydrazone zeichnen sich durch hohen Schmelzpunkt, intensive Farbe und gutes Kristallisationsvermögen aus. Sie eignen sich zur Charakterisierung und Bestimmung von Mikromengen an Carbonylverbindungen.

    Notes: Im Zuge der ständig ansteigenden Rohölverarbeitung in der DDR begannen umfassende analytische Arbeiten an den anfallenden Erdölprodukten, wie sie in den großen Erdölförderländern bereits seit langem durchgeführt werden.Die Analytik der hochmolekularen Produkte der Erdölverarbeitung ist wegen des komplexen Charakters dieser Produkte außerordentlich schwierig. Bei der Sichtung der umfangreichen Literatur fallen neben vielen Einzelveröffentlichungen besonders die Arbeiten einer Reihe von Arbeitsgruppen auf, die intensive Untersuchungen durchgeführt haben, wie z. B. SSERGIJENKO(2), TSCHERNOSCHUKOW(3), FREUND(4), VAMOS5, ROSSINI(6) und TERRES(7).Der vorliegende Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit der Zerlegung des an Aromaten reichen Phenolextraktes der Neutralöl-I-Fraktion des Tuimasinsker Rohöls (UdSSR). Da zur Zerlegung derartiger Produkte nur substanzschonende Methoden brauchbar sind, wurde vorzugsweise die Adsorptionschromatographie an Silicagel angewendet.     Notes: 1,8-Dihydroxy naphthalene 3:6 di sulphonic acid is known to form coloured complexes with a number of metal ions. A few of the references worth mentioning are those on Ti(iv)1), Fe(iii)2, Cu(ii)3), Cr(vi)4), Uo2++5) etc. The formation of a brown coloured product by the interaction of vanadium with the reagent has also been mentioned by some authors6) but details about its behaviour and composition are lacking. It was, therefore, thought worth-while to determine spectrophotometrically the composition of a vanadyl complex which in our case was pink in colour.

    Notes: Die Analyse hochmolekularer Produkte der Erdölverarbeitung erfordert wegen des komplexen Charakters dieser Produkte einen großen Aufwand an Trennleistung und -güte. Im vorliegenden Beitrag wird die intensive Zerlegung der bei der chromatographischen Gruppentrennung eines Phenolextraktes aus Neutralöl I (Tuimasa) erhaltenen KW -stoffgruppen beschrieben. Über die Gewinnung des Ausgangsproduktes und dessen chromatographische Gruppentrennung sowie über die angewendeten Methoden der Strukturgruppenanalyse wurde bereits berichtet.

    Notes: Spectrophotometric studies of mixtures containing Cr(iii) and transfusion gelatin were undertaken to know the binding of chromic ion to the protein. Experiments carried out between pH 3:7 and 5.8 had indicated the binding of the metal through the carboxyl groups of the protein. The extent of metal binding was found to be dependent upon metal-protein ratio, maximum binding taking place in the ratio metal to protein as 42:1.

    Notes: Two new selective reagents in the series of nitrophenylhydrazones of vicinal diketomonoximes, p-nitro- and 2:4, dinitro-phenylhydrazones of 2-methyl-3 oximo-pentanone-4 are repeated. Both show high sensitivity for cobalt. Limits of identification and dilution limits for the reagents have been determined as 0.2 microgram and 1:500,000 respectively.

    Notes: Durch physikalisch-chemische Methoden wurden über 300 binäre Systeme der Alkoxysilane, Aroxysilane, Methylsiloxane und ihrer organischen Analoga mit organischen Elektronen-akzeptoren und -donatoren untersucht. Sowohl die Elektronen-donator- als auch die -akzeptor-Eigenschaften der Alkoxysilane nehmen mit Verringerung der Zahl der Alkoxygruppen am zentralen Siliciumatom zu.
