Zusammenfassung Es ergab sich eine nur geringe oder gar mangelnde Aktivität hydrolytischer Enzyme in den Sarkomzellen. Von den Oxydoreduktasen zeigte die Succinodehydrogenase ebenfalls eine schwache Aktivität. Hingegen zeichneten sich die Lactatdehydrogenase sowie die NADH2-Nitro-BT-Reduktase durch eine kräftige Aktivität aus. Der starke Reaktionsausfall der Lactatdehydrogenase läßt darauf schließen, daß das Endprodukt der Glykolyse hauptsächlich in Form von Milchsäure anfällt. Bei den Isoenzymen der Lactatdehydrogenase herrschen die beiden kathodischen Fraktionen 4 und 5 bei Fehlen der anodischen 1. und 2. Fraktion vor; das entspricht einem starken Überwiegen der für anaerobe Stoffwechselvorgänge charakteristischen M-Untereinheiten.

Summary The activity of hydrolytic enzymes in the cells of 6 mainly spindle cell sarcomas was only faint or even absent. As to oxidative enzymes, succinodehydrogenase activity was very faint too. On the other hand, lactic dehydrogenase and NADH2-nitro-BT-reductase exhibited a very strong activity. The strong reaction for LDH suggests the terminal product of glycolysis occurs mainly as lactic acid. In isoenzymes of lactic dehydrogenase, there is a prevalence of both cathodic fractions 4 and 5, whereas the 1 st and 2nd anodic fractions are missing. This corresponds to a strong preponderance of M subunits which are characteristic for an anaerobic metabolism.
