Zusammenfassung In menschlichen Blutplättchen wurde eine Enzymreaktion gefunden, die die Eigenschaften typischer Proteinkinasen anderer Zellen und Gewebe zeigt: Phosphorylation basischer Proteine (Histon) in Serin- und Threoninresten, Magnesiumabhängigkeit und Stimulation durch Adenosin 3′,5′-monophosphat. Dieses Enzym könnte ein wichtiges Bindeglied zwischen der intracellulären c-AMP-Konzentration und der Plättchen-Funktion darstellen.

Summary An enzyme reaction in human platelets is demonstrated which possesses the properties of protein-phosphokinases isolated from other cells: phosphorylation of basic proteins in phosphoserine and -threonine linkages, magnesium dependency and stimulation by adenosine 3′,5′-monophosphate. It is suggested that this enzyme might be responsible for the expression of the cAMP effects on the platelets.
