Description / Table of Contents:
The Reaction of N-(Trimethylsilyl)sulfodiimides and Iminophosphoranes with Phosphorous(V) FluoridesMonofunctional N-silylated sulfur(VI) imides and iminophosphoranes react with PF5 or PhPF4 under condensation to give trimethylfluorosilane and differently substituted fluoro- or organyltris(amino)phosphonium fluorophosphates of the type F4-nPRn]⊕PF6⊖ [R = (CH3)2S(O)N-, (CH3)2S(NTos)N-, Ph3PN-, (CH3)2PhPN-; n = 3, 2] and F3-nPhPRn]⊕ PhPF5⊖ (n = 3, 2, 1).Bifunctional N.N'-bis(trimethylsilyl)-S.S-dimethylsulfodiimides form analogously cationic polymeric phosphonium salts with a high degree of cross-linking (7a, b). - The identification of the reaction products was, above all, done by n.m.r. spectroscopy. The mode of the multiple substitution is demonstrated.
Notes:
