Notes: Summary Intrahepatic biliodigestive anastomoses are decisive ultimate aids in cases where the hepatocholedochus has been destroyed as far as the bifurcation in the hepatic porta by iatrogenic circumstances, by a hydatid cyst in the liver, or by malignant tumors. In such cases the authors have achieved success by means of hepatocholangio-jejunostomy, hepatocholangiojejunostomy with Roux's anastomosis, or the omega-shaped anastomosis following typical or atypical liver resection. Depending on the basic disease it is often impossible to cure the patient, but he may be given decisive help, at least for the time being.
