    Notes: Summary Cold agglutinins of anti-Pr specificity were detected in two newborn infants suffering from serologically ascertained rubella embryopathy, an IgM κ anti-Pra, titer 64, and an IgM λ anti-Pr1, titer 16. The cases are rare examples of cold agglutinin production in newborns; a possible relationship between anti-Pr specificity and rubella infection is discussed.

    Description / Table of Contents: On the stress corrosion cracking behaviour of recrystallized 8090-T81 SheetsThe stress corrosion cracking behaviour of a recrystallized sheet of the Al-Li-Cu-Mg-Zr alloy 8090-T81 was studied performing accelerated tests under constant deformation, constant load, and slow strain rate conditions. The used electrolytes were an aqueous 3.5% NaCl solution, an aqueous solution of 2% NaCl + 0.5% Na2CrO4 at pH = 3, and synthetic seawater according to ASTM D1141. Alternately immersed in 3.5% NaCl solution according to ASTM G44 the investigated alloy was found to be susceptible to stress corrosion cracking was not promoted by continuous immersion in aerated 3.5% NaCl solution, 3.5% NaCl solution saturated with carbon dioxide, and in acid chromate inhibited 2% NaCl solution. Using the slow strain rate technique with continuously immersed flat tensile specimens stress corrosion cracking was only observed in synthetic seawater. Under specific environmental conditions hydrogen embrittlement can occur in the investigated material.
    Notes: Das Spannungsrißkorrosionsverhalten eines rekristallisierten Bleches der AlLiCuMgZr-Legierung 8090-T81 wurde mit beschleunigten Prüfverfahren unter konstanter Verformung, konstanter Belastung und mit langsamer Dehnrate untersucht. Als Elektrolyte wurden eine wäßrige 3,5%ige NaCl-Lösung, eine wäßrige Lösung von 2% NaCl + 0,5% Na2CrO4 bei pH = 3 und künstliches Meerwasser nach ASTM D1141 benutzt. Im Wechseltauchversuch in 3,5%iger NaCl-Lösung (entsprechend ASTM G44) erweist sich das in Walzrichtung untersuchte Blech als anfällig für Spannungsrißkorrosion. Im Dauertauchversuch in belüfteter oder mit Kohlendioxid gesättigter 3,5%iger NaCl-Lösung sowie in saurer, chromathaltiger 2%iger NaCl-Lösung (nach LN 65666) zeigt der Werkstoff dagegen hohen Spannungsrißkorrosionswiderstand. Bei der Prüfung mit langsamer Dehnrate, bei der die Zugproben kontinuierlich in den Elektrolyten eingetaucht sind, wird nur in künstlichem Meerwasser eine Spannungsrißkorrosionsanfälligkeit beobachtet. Es gibt Hinweise, daß Wasserstoff unter bestimmten Umgebungsbedingungen den untersuchten Werkstoff versprödet.

Only one of the stereoisomers of 2 is formed in which the two benzyl groups are located on the same side of the planar four-membered ring. 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n.
    Notes: Benzyliden-diethylamino-benzylfuorphosphoran, 1, reagiert mit Lithium-bis(trimethylsilyl)-amid zur Titelverbindung 2 und 1-Diethylamino-2,3-diphenylphosphiran, 3. Von 2 wird nur das Stereoisomer gebildet, bei dem die beiden Benzylgruppen auf der gleichen Seite des ebenen viergliedrigen Rings angeordnet sind. 2 kristallisiert in der monoklinen Raumgruppe P21/n.
