Notes:
An exact expression for entropy of simple fluids in terms of the pair correlation functions is derived assuming the known form of the bridge functional. The Martynov–Sarkisov closure of the Ornstein–Zernike equation is tested for the Lennard-Jones fluid. The results improve the accuracy of the pair correlation component of the Green–Raveche entropy expansion at low and intermediate densities but fail to describe a dense fluid.
