Summary The action of d-amphetamine on the histochemical activities of succinic and malic dehydrogenases in sections of cerebral cortex, cerebellum, and neostriatum has been studied. Meldola blue was used as an exogenous electron carrier in the histochemical reactions. The results have demonstrated that d-amphetamine increases the activity of the enzymes studied.
