Notes:
We describe eight patients with grafted leg ulcers, in whom subepidermal bullous lesions appeared after 4–8 weeks either at the donor or the grafted site. The blisters were seen in the centre as well as just outside the graft. They remained for some days and then disappeared. Histology revealed a normal epidermis and a dermis with a moderate lymphocytic infiltration around the capillaries. No clinical signs of pemphigoid were found and friction does not seem to have been a contributing factor. We have at present no explanation for the appearance of the blisters.
