Zusammenfassung Die Autoren berichten über ihre Erfahrungen mit systematischen Gesundheitsvorsorgeuntersuchungen im Rahmen der Familie. Dabei wird die Familie nicht nur als Beobachtungseinheit betrachtet, sondern auch als Einheit für eine gemeinsame Erziehung und Betreuung. Dieses Vorgehen erscheint um so sinnvoller, als die Epidemiologie heute immer deutlicher zeigt, wie wichtig die genetischen und die frühen Umgebungsfaktoren bei der Entstehung und im Zusammenhang mit einer primären Prävention der chronischen Krankheiten sind. Andrerseits wird die Vorsorgeuntersuchung mit dem Ziel durchgeführt, dem praktischen Arzt im Sinne einer Synthese eine Übersicht über die Individuen und die Familie zu gestatten und die Prävention in die Allgemeinmedizin zu integrieren.
Abstract:
Summary The authors report on their experience with systematic medical examinations in the framework of the family. The family is considered not only as the unit of observation, but also of education, or of service. This approach seems even the more efficacious, as Epidemiology has shown the importance of genetic and early environmental factors in the occurrence and in the possibilities of primary prevention of chronic disease. On the other hand, the systematic check-up is conducted with the aim of allowing to the practicing physician a synthesizing overview of the individuals as well as of the families, and of integrating prevention into general medical practice.

Résumé Les auteurs rapportent leur expérience des bilans systématiques de santé réalisés dans le cadre familial. La famille est considérée comme unité d'observation et comme unité d'éducation, ou de prise en charge: cette démarche semble d'autant plus efficace que l'épidémiologie montre aujourd'hui l'importance des facteurs génétiques ou d'environnement précoce, dans la survenue, et les possibilités de prévention primaire des maladies chroniques. Le bilan de santé, d'autre part, est réalisé dans le but de permettre au médecin praticien d'avoir sur les individus et la famille une vue de synthèse, et d'intégrer la prévention à la pratique médicale générale.
