Abstract Polycrystalline compounds U3Bi4 and UGa2 in powder form have been investigated by the method ofH/M vsM 2 curves to find well defined values of the magnetic transition temperaturesT C . ForT〉T C the asymptotic transition points have been obtained by linear extrapolation of the 1/χ vsT dependence. It has been found that, in contrast to other papers, the pointsT C andΘ C coincide within the limits of experimental errors (±2°K). On the absolute scale these points areT C =112°K for U3Bi4 andT C =126°K for UGa2.
