Zusammenfassung Die malignen germinalen Hodentumoren sind morphologisch und biologisch sehr different und überdies in der Mehrzahl gemischt. Exakte histologische Analyse ist der Schlüssel zur klaren Prognostik und optimalen Therapie. Aktive, operative und radiologische Beschäftigung mit der regonären, retroperitonealen Metastasierung verbessert die therapeutischen Ergebnisse. Das Seminom ist zu 90% heilbar, das Embryonale und das Terato-Carcinom zu ca. 40%, das Chorio-Carcinom ist nahezu unheilbar. Vorverlegte Diagnostik und noch radikalere Therapie der regionären Metastasierung sind anzustreben.

Summary The malignant germinal tumors of the testis are very different in their morphology and biology. Most of them are mixed. The exact histo-pathological diagnosis is the key for the prognosis and the most favorable treatment. Active surgery and radiology of the retroperitoneal metastases improved the results of therapy. The Seminomy is in 90% curable, the Embryonal Carcinoma and the Teratocarcinoma in 40%, the Chorionepithelioma is almost incurable. Early diagnosis and radical surgery of the metastases in the regional lymphonodes are to aspire.
