A newly developed compound-cast steel for wear-exposed installationsThe first-ever description is given of the Klöckner compound casting process. Originally employed for the production of rails of composite steel, the method has been developed steel, the method has been developed further for the production of bar steel, plates and special profiles.The compound-casting principle is particularly suited for the use of steels for parts exposed to some results of examinations is followed by the description of certain applications.

Es wird das Klöckner-Verbundguß-Verfahren erstmalig beschrieben. Ursprünglich benutzt zur Herstellung von Verbundgußschienen, wurde das Verfahren weiterentwickelt zur Herstellung von Stabstahl, Blechen und Sonderprofilen.Das Verbundgußprinzip ist besonders geeignet für die Verwendung von Stählen bei Verschleißbeanspruchungen. Nach Mitteilung von einigen Untersuchungsergebnissen, werden Anwendungsbeispiele dargestellt und beschrieben.
