Summary The polarographic behavior is described of iron oxinate, aluminium oxinate, AlCl3, Al(ClO4)3·x DMF and oxine, along with the nature of the limiting current, the position of the half wave potentials (referred to the saturated aqueous calomel electrode) and the influence of water. It is further shown that the oxinates of iron and aluminium in dimethylformamide (DMF) can be determined rapidly and quantitatively in the presence of each other.

Résumé On décrit le comportement polarographique de l'oxinate de fer et de celui d'aluminium, de AlCl3, Al(ClO4)3·x DMF et de l'oxine dans le diméthylformamide, la nature des courants limites, la position des potentiels de demi-vague (par rapport à l'électrode au calomel saturée) et l'influence de l'eau. On montre de plus que l'oxinate de fer et d'aluminium dans le diméthylformamide (DMF) peuvent être décelés en présence l'un de l'autre, rapidement et quantitativement.

Zusammenfassung Das polarographische Verhalten von Aluminiumoxinat in DMSO, von Eisen(III)-oxinat, Aluminiumoxinat, AlCl3, Al(ClO4)3 ·x DMF und Oxin in DMF, die Natur der Grenzströme, die Lage der Halbwellen-potentiale (bezogen auf die gesättigte wäßrige Kalomelelektrode) und der Einfluß von Wasser werden beschrieben. Weiterhin wird gezeigt, daß die Oxinate von Eisen und Aluminium in DMF nebeneinander rasch und quantitativ erfaßbar sind.
