Résumé L'étude de la teneur en electrolytes et en protéines du liquide sous-rétinien, celle de son image immuno-électrophorétique et enfin de son activité enzymatique (lactico-déshydrogénase) montrent que ce liquide contient du vitré et de nombreux constituants du sérum. Sa teneur en protéines, et avec elle le nombre de fractions décelable par l'immuno-électrophorèse, augmentent avec l'âge du décollement rétinien. Les electrolytes varient parallèlement à ceux du sérum. L'activité enzymatique est particulièrement importante dans les décollements anciens, et plus encore tumoraux, exsudatifs.
Abstract:
Summary The determination of electrolytes (Na, K, Cl) and protein content, as well as the results of immuno-electrophoresis and enzyme activity (lactatedehydrogenase/LDH) show that the subretinal fluid (SRF) contains many serum components. The protein-content and the number of immunoelectrophoretic precipitation lines increase with the duration of the detachment. There is no statistically significant difference in the electrolyte content of serum and SRF. In old detachments and in exsudative detachments due to tumors of the choroid a very marked increase of the LDH activity is noted.

Zusammenfassung Untersuchungen der subretinalen Flüssigkeit (SRF) in bezug auf Elektrolyt-, Proteingehalt, immunelektrophoretisches Bild und Lactat-Dehydrogenase-Aktivität ergeben, daß die SRF neben Glaskörper zahlreiche Bestandteile des Serums enthält. Der Proteingehalt und damit die immunelektrophoretisch nachweisbaren Fraktionen nehmen mit zunehmender Dauer der Amotio zu. Der Elektrolytgehalt geht parallel mit den Serumwerten. Eine auffallende Erhöhung der LDH-Aktivität findet sich bei älteren Amotiones und vor allem bei exsudativen Tumor-Amotiones.
