Description / Table of Contents: The reaction of tetrameric nitrosylnickel halides with phosphines, arsines, stibines and amines (L) leads to nonpolar dimeric diamagnetic complexes [Ni(NO)(L)hal]2. The cis and trans stereo isomeres were isolated with tricyclohexyl phosphine as a ligand. In a second step of the reaction, the halogenobridges of this compounds are cleaved by addition of a second ligand.
