    Description / Table of Contents: Summary The paper describes an experimental device which gives the possibility to control the growth of primary roots ofArabidopsis thaliana (L.) Heynh. With its help the effects of some factors influencing root growth have been analysed. Furthermore the relationship between X-ray dose and inhibition of root growth after irradiation of presoaked seeds has been tested.
    Abstract: Крamкое со¶rt;ержaнuе Разрбатывается опытная методика, позволяющая контролировать рост первичных корешковArabidopsis thaliana (L.) Heynh. Анализируется действие некоторых факторов, влияющих на рост корешкоб. Исследуется зависимость торможения корневого роста от дозы рентгена. Облучение велось на предварительно замоченных семенах.
    Notes: Zusammenfassung Es wird eine Versuchsanordnung entwickelt, die eine weitgehende Kontrolle des Wachstums der Primärwurzeln vonArabidopsis thaliana (L.) Heynh. gestattet. Mit ihrer Hilfe wird die Wirkung einiger das Wurzelwachstum beeinflussender Faktoren analysiert. Die Beziehungen zwischen Röntgendosis und Hemmung des Wurzelwachstums bei Bestrahlung vorgequollener Samen werden untersucht.

Daran schließt sich eine kurze Charakterisierung der Bestäubungsverhältnisse an. Auf Grund von Versuchsergebnissen und praktischen Arbeitserfahrungen werden verschiedene Methoden der künstlichen Kreuzung erörtert.
