Показ ано, что решение этих проблем можно свести к решени ю аналогичных проблем в методе MO-LCAO. Дано решение для одно го типа моделей. Анало гия обоих методов показывает, ч то качественные свойства поверхност ных состояния Шокли з ависят прежде всего от геоме трии решеток.
    Notes: Abstract The Shockley surface states problem was formulated for the Coulson graphite model and Hoerni diamond model with delta function potentials. It was shown that the solution of these problems can be reduced to the solution of analogous problems in the MO-LCAO method. A solution is given for one type of models. The analogy of both methods shows that the qualitative properties of Shockley surface states depend primarily on the geometry of the lattices.

    Notes: Abstract The influence of the non-zero value of exchange integrals between Wannier functions, localized in non-neighbouring elementary cells (higher approximation than tight-binding), on the conditions of existence of Tamm surface states and the position of the energy level corresponding to the surface state is shown.
