Notes:
In the known reaction of POC13,and PO4,R3,which yields P—O—P bonds, the elimination of C1 and R respectively does not proceed only by production of RCl, but a large amount of HC1 and alkene is also formed. The production of P—O—P bonds proceeds until one of the reacting groups is exhausted. An equimolecular mixture of POCl3,and PO4,R3,yields at about 150°C a substance the composition of which is close to P2,O5,with elimination mainly of HCl and alkene. Triphenylphosphate does not react with POCl3.
