Notes: Es existieren zwei Natriumargentite: 3Na2O · Ag2O und 2Na2O · Ag2O. Ersteres ist bei 300° bei Anwesenheit von Sauerstoff instabil; es wird Natriumoxyd als Peroxyd abgespalten und die Verbindung geht in die zweitgenannte, stabile über. Chemisch verhalten sich beide Argentite so wie ihre oxydischen Bestandteile.Für die Gewinnung Für die Gewinnung des Natriumargentits war reines Natriumoxyd notwendig. Seine Herstellung auf einem besonderen Wege wird beschrieben.
