Notes:
The chiral (π-allyl)Pd(II) complex [Pd(η3—CH3CHCHCH2)(S, S-Chiraphos)]CF3SO3 was shown to exist in four isomeric forms (two diastereomeric and two geometric). Aspects of their three-dimensional structures were elucidated using 1H, 13C and 31P one- and two-dimensional NMR methods. The assignment of the diastereomers, which differ with respect to the coordinated face of the allyl ligand, was achieved using 1H-NOESY methods.
