Notes: Abstract Excited states of73Se have been investigated up to spin, 21/2 using techniques of in-beamγ-ray spectroscopy in connection with the70Ge(α, n) reaction. Mean lifetimes of 12 levels have been determined applying Doppler-shift andγ-RF-methods. Five different bands have been identified that reflect a variety of different excitation modes. The decoupled 9/2+ band is likely to correspond to an oblate deformation while the 5/2+ band is interpreted as a strongly coupled prolate band built on the Nilsson configuration [422] 5/2+. The 3/2− band is a strongly coupled band built on the [301] 3/2} configuration.Nuclear reactions:70Ge(α,n),E=14, 16, 18, 19, 20MeV; measuredE γ,I γ,σ(E γ,θ),γγ-coin, linear polarization, DSA,γ(t).75Se deduced levels,I, π, τ, δ(E2/M1), B(σλ). Notes: Abstract Excited states in the doubly-odd nucleus82Rb have been investigated via the reactions79Br(α,n) and78Se(7Li,3n) using in-beamγ-ray spectroscopy. The level energy of the longlived 5− isomer has been determined to 68.3 keV which is below the energy of the 2− state found at 88.9 keV with a lifetime ofΤ=2.4(2) ns. A sequence of positive-parity states beginning with a 6+ level at 191.3 keV (Τ=20(3) ns) and extending to a (10+) level has been interpreted to contain the two-particle configuration (πg 9/2⊗Ν 9/2) and collective excitations.

Notes: Abstract Levels in81Br and82Br have been investigated up to spin 21/2 and 10ħ, respectively, on the basis of in-beamγ-ray spectroscopy inα and deuteron induced reactions. In81Br a 3-quasiparticle (qp) band built on a (13/2−) level at 2.55 MeV has been established besides the bands built on thep 3/2 andg 9/2 proton excitations. The 3qp configuration is interpreted to include at least oneg 9/2 proton. The structures observed in the doublyodd nucleus82Br are associated withg 9/2 proton and/or neutron excitations.

Notes: Abstract High-spin states in the N=50 nucleus86Kr have been investigated via the82Se(7Li,p2n) reaction using 32 MeV7Li ions. In order to suppress γ-rays arising from pure neutron evaporation the measurements of angular distributions and relative excitation functions of the γ-rays as well as γ-γ coincidences have been performed in particle-γ coincidence modes. Levels with excitation energy up to 7.9 MeV and tentative spins up to (12) have been established. On the basis of systematics tentative assignments of shell model configurations are proposed.

Notes: Abstract High-spin states in85Kr have been studied via in-beam spectroscopy by bombarding a82Se target with 32 MeV7Li ions. Since85Kr is only formed with a small relative cross section proton-γ—γ coincidence techniques have been applied to enhance the γ rays of85Kr, even with respect to those of86Kr, in the measurements. A new sequence of high-spin states with excitation energies up to 4.8 MeV and tentative spins up to (23/2) has been established on top of the 17/2+ Μs isomer. A tentative assignment of the configurationvg 9 2/−1 π(g 9/2 p 3 2/−1 orf 5 2/−1 ) to the new levels is proposed.
