Notes: Summary The broadening of mass spectra of biomolecules due to the natural isotopic distributions is discussed with reference to252Cf plasma desorption mass spectrometry. The experimental factors affecting the resolution of a typical mass spectrometer using this technique are also discussed.

Notes: Summary The desorption and fragmentation of dipeptide smaples was investigated through252Cf-PDMS and FAB techniques. The results for the dipeptides Ala-Ala (molecular weight 160) and Ala-Leu (molecular weight 202) were discussed and compared to previously reported investigations.

Notes: Abstract The6Li +6Li → 3α reaction has been studied from 2.4 to 6.7 MeV incident energy in a kinematically complete experiment. Quasi-free effects with an α-particle spectator in the target, in the projectile and in the CM-system were investigated. Momentum distributions and angular correlations were interpreted by using PWIA and DWBA.

Notes: Abstract The quasifree scattering and reaction processes in the3H+2H→d→d+n interaction leaving a neutron as a spectator have been investigated at incident triton energies around 35 MeV. The results compare well with the predictions from Plane Wave Impulse Approximation, arbitrarily normalized to the data. The final energy prescription was used.
