Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Die SchÄdigungsmöglichkeiten (Nebenwirkungen) von Antidoten werden besprochen bei Vergiftungen durch Schwermetalle: Schwefeltherapie, Therapie mit den Chelatbildnern Dimercaprol (BAL), Penicillamin, Calcium-Natrium-EDTA, Calcium-Natrium-DTPA, Desferrioxamin; bei Vergiftungen durch BlausÄure: Natriumthiosulfat, Natriumnitrit, Aminophenole (N.N-Dimethyl-p-aminophenol), Kobalt-EDTA, Kobalt-Desferrioxamin, Hydroxocobalamin; bei Vergiftungen durch Alkylphosphate: Atropin, Pralidoxim (2-PAM) und Obidoxim. Die Nebenwirkungen sind fast immer Folgen von überdosierung. Bei Aussetzen oder Reduzierung der Dosen sind sie meist reversibel.
Notes: Summary The side-effects of antidotes are discussed in heavy-metal poisoning: Sulphur therapy, treatment with the chelating agents dimercaprol (BAL), penicillamine, calcium-sodium-EDTA, calcium-sodium-DTPA and desferrioxamine; in hydrogen cyanide poisoning: Sodium thiosulfate, sodium nitrite, aminophenols (N,N-dimethyl-p-aminophenol), cobalt-EDTA, cobalt-desferrioxamine and hydroxo-cobalamine; and in organophosphate poisoning: Atropin, pralidoxime (PAM) and obidoxime. The side-effects are almost always the result of overdosage. They can usually be reversed by discontinuing administration or by reducing the dose.
