    Notes: Abstract A mid-infrared (8 – 22 µm) camera, equipped with a Hughes hybrid bulk Si:As array detector of 10 × 64 pixels was developed for the 1.5 m Italian Infrared Telescope (TIRGO). The instrument was used for narrow-band 8–14 µm high-background astronomical observations. Here we present a short description of the camera, including its fast readout electronics and its optical design. When used at TIRGO, the camera has a pixel scale of 1.23 arcsec/pix. From the observations of infrared standard stars we derived a noise equivalent flux density (NEFD) that, for all the filters, is in the range 0.5–0.7 Jy × arcsec−2 xmin−1/2 and a point spread function (PSF) of the order of 3 arcsec(FWHM). Mosaics of the extended sources Mars at 8.8, 9.8, and 12.5 µm, and of the star forming region Orion BN-KL Nebula at 12.5 µm, are shown. The camera performances are also illustrated on the basis of the image of the post-AGB source CRL618.

    Description / Table of Contents: Creep Strength and High Temperature Damage of Incoloy 800 HT after Solution Treatment and High Temperature AgeingIn the present work the influence of heat, treatment, especially for high temperature ageing, on the creep strength and the intercrystalline creep damage of the iron base alloy Incoloy 800 HT(X10 NiCrAlTi 32 20 HT) is examined. For this purpose the properties and the damage behaviour, particulary the magnitude of damage, of the preaged materials at two test temperatures are compared to the solution treated material after creep failure. The results of metallographic investigation (optical, SEM and TEM) were used to study the influence of long therm ageing on the damage and the microstruture. The damage is quantified by using a damage parameter which is derived from the creep crack density and the length.
    Notes: In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird der Einfluß der Wärmebehandlung, insbesondere der einer langzeitigen Hochtemperaturauslagerung, auf die Zeitstandfestigkeit und die interkristalline Schädigung der Eisenbasislegierung Incoloy 800 HT (X10 NiCrAlTi 32 20 HT) untersucht. Dabei werden zum einen der lösungsgeglühte Zu-stand und zum anderen langzeitig, bis zu einer Gesamtdauer von 3000h, überalterte Werkstoffzustände bei zwei Versuchstemperaturen im Zeitstandexperiment miteinander verglichen. Die Ergebnisse metallographischer und elektronenmikroskopischer Untersuchungen zur Beeinflussung der auftretenden interkristallinen Schädigung durch die Langzeitauslagerung werden vorgestellt und mit einem quantitativen Schädigungsparameter beschrieben. Die auftretende Schädigung im überalterten und löungsgeglühten Werkstoff nach Zeitstandbeanspruchung werden miteinander verglichen.

    Description / Table of Contents: Evolution of the Microstructure in Alloy 800HT under High Temperature Creep LoadIn the present work the microstructural evolution under isothermal and high temperature creep conditions is studied for the iron-base-alloy Incoloy Alloy 800HT (X10 NiCrAlTi 32 20 HT) at temperatures of 800° and 900° and stresses of 70 MPa and 45 MPa resp. To describe the microstructure changes under creep stress loading and constant test temperature the dislocation density, particle size and mean planer interparticle spacing where investigated using transmission electron microscopy. The results of the dislocation density and particle morphology measurements are compared and discussed in the context of creep deformation, heat treatment conditions and creep behaviour.
    Notes: In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird die Entwicklung der Mikrostruktur, gekennzeichnet durch die Merkmale Versetzungsdichte, Partikelvolumenanteil und -abstand bei Hochtemperaturkriechbeanspruchung, der Eisenbasislegierung Incoloy Alloy 800HT (X10 NiCrAlTi 32 20 HT) untersucht. Zur Beschreibung der Evolution der Mikrostruktur in Abhängigkeit von Temperatur und Kriechverformung werden isotherme Wärmebehandlungen und Kriechexperimente bei 800° / 800° und 70MPa sowie 900° / 900° und 45MPa durchgeführt. Die Untersuchung der sich durch die Beanspruchungen einstellenden Gefügeänderugen erfolgt mit Methoden der Elektronenmikroskopie, vornehmlich im Transmissionselektronenmikroskop. Eine detaillierte Auswertung der sich ergebenden Versetzungsdichten und Größen der ausgeschiedenen Karbide wird mit den Zeitstandkenngrößen in Beziehung gesetzt, analysiert und diskutiert.
