The effect of high-temperature thermo-mechanical treatment on the characteristics of cracks propagation in spring steel Behaviour of cracks propagation in Cr—;Si-steel subjected to the high-temperature thermo-mechanical treatment has been evaluated based on the cracking mechanics at changing load. The effect of degree of deformation on the initiation cracks development and the velocity of fatigue cracks development have been analysed. The evaluation of morphology of the fractures surface was performed on the basis of micro-fractographical studies.

Bewertung des Rißausbreitungsverhaltens eines hochtemperatur-thermomechanisch behandelten Cr—Si-Federstahls anhand der Bruchmechanik bei schwingender Beanspruchung. Es wurde der Einfluß des Verformungsgrades auf Rißbeginn und Rißwachstumsgeschwindigkeit analysiert. Aussagen zur Bruchflächenmorphologie anhand der mikrofraktographischen Untersuchungen wurden getroffen.
