    Notes: The gas phase of hexanuclear Ta clusters of type [Ta6X12]X2·8H2O, X=Cl, Br was investigated using laser-desorption Fourier-transform mass spectrometry. The [Ta6X12]X2- ions (m/z=1581 for X=Cl, m/z=2205 for X=Br) are the most characteristic peaks in their negative-ion laser-desorption mass spectra. Additional fragmentations observed are the result of loss of halogen and metal from [Ta6X12]X2-. Positive ions are observed only in the laser-desorption mass spectra of [Ta6Br12]Br·8H2O.

    Notes: The results of MNDO SCF MO calculations on 5α-androstane (1), androstan-3-one (2), androstan-16-one (3), androstan-17-one (4), androstane-3,16-dione (5), and androstane-3,17-dione (6) and the experimental 13C-NMR chemical shifts observed in various solvents (C6D12, CDCl3, CD3CO2D, CD2Cl2, CD3COCD3, CD3OD, CD3CN) were used to assess the nature of long-range interactions between 3,16- and 3,17-carbonyl groups in androstanediones.     Notes: Die Quantenausbeuten der photochemischen Umlagerung von Bis-[4-methyl-naphthalin-(2)]-indigo (NI) in die Ketoform (I) des 7-Hydroxy-5.12-dimethyl-dinaphtho[1.2-b:2′.3′-d]furans (II) sind in hydroxylfreien Lösungsmitteln von der Lichtintensität, der Konzentration des NI und vom Lösungsmittel unabhängig. Dies Stützt die Annahme einer intramolekularen Lichtumlagerung.  -  In hydroxylhaltigen Lösungsmitteln wird durch eine Dunkelreaktion von II mit NI eine Erhöhung der Quantenausbeute im Laufe der Bestrahlung vorgetäuscht; das Produkt ist noch ungeklärt.
