Zusammenfassung Mit Hilfe von 14C-markiertem p-TMC wurde gezeigt, daß diese choleretisch wirksame Substanz zu ca. 10% der eingesetzten Radioaktivität in der Galle erscheint. Ein kleiner Teil von p-TMC wird als solches, der weit größere Teil als vorwiegend an Taurocholsäuren gekoppeltes p-TMC in die Galle abgegeben. Nur letzteres läßt einen Zusammenhang mit der Wirkung erkennen.

Summary By means of 14C-labelled p-TMC it was demonstrated that this choleretic appears in the bile. Appr. 10% of the injected activity was found in the bile. A small part of the p-TMC is excreted as the genuine substance, the far larger part is combined mainly with taurocholic acids. Only the latter can be brought into connection with the effect.
