Zusammenfassung Starrer Cerclage-Draht hat Nachteile, die der Realisierung des Konzepts Zuggurtung entgegen stehen. Er läßt sich nur schwer positionieren und nicht übungssicher verspannen. Oft bricht der, Zwirbel beim Verdrillen. Das neu konzipierte Zuggurtungsset, das in einer kompletten Kassette von Aesculap geliefert wird, besteht aus konfektionierten Drahtseilen, die mit einem neuartigen Gerät gut dosierbar verspannt und anschließend verplombt werden. Die einzelnen Schritte seiner Anwendung werden durch OP-Fotos an je einer Patella- und Olecranonfraktur gezeigt.

Summary Rigid cerclage wire has disadvantages which oppose the realization of the principle “tension band wiring”. It is difficult to position and becomes loose when kinks and loops in it are forcefully straightened out during aftertreatment. For the reason a new set is recommended, which is delivered complete by Aesculap, consisting of standardized wire ropes, mechanical clips and a newly developed tension device. With this equipment — as shown in photographs — the tension band operation becomes technically simpler and permanent compression is granted.
