Several 14-hydroxy-14a-methyl-(E)-homoeburnane diastereoisomers have been synthesized and studied by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. ID NOE difference experiments, together with proton-proton correlation and decoupling measurements, have allowed the complete assignment of the 1H and 13C NMR spectra. The relative configurations and predominant conformations have been established.
