Methodology of Working with the Radioactive Sulphur Isotope 35SIn view of. its half-life period of 88 days and its soft β-radiation, the isotope 35S is very valuable for numerous investigations in organic, inorganic and biochemistry. The authors describe in detail its preparation, properties and possible uses, as well as the way of handling substances containing 35S. The calculation of the results of the experiments is also discussed.

Das Isotop 35S ist seiner Halbwertszeit von 88 Tagen und weichen β-Strahlung entsprechend für zahlreiche Untersuchungen der organischen-, anorganischen- und Biochemie sehr wertvoll. Seine Darstellung, Eigenschaften und Anwendungsmöglichkeiten sowie der Umgang mit 35S-haltigen Substanzen werden ausführlich beschrieben, wobei auch die Berechnung der Versuchsergebnisse berücksichtigt wird.
