Description / Table of Contents:
Thermal Decomposition of Diarylnitrosamines and -nitraminesThermal decomposition of the nitrosamines 1 and 8 in the absence of oxygen affords diarylamine radicals which form 4-7 and 9-11, respectively. The results support the radical mechanism for the thermal benzidine rearrangement. - The nitramines 13, 14 and 17 undergo a thermal nitramine rearrangement. - Heating of 1 and 16 in the presence of oxygen to give 2, 3 and 19, 20, respectively, proceeds as depicted in eqn. (1).
Notes:
(1) formulierte Reaktionsweg abgeleitet.
