    Notes: Abstract  In long-term field experiments on sandy loam and loamy sand soils, the influence of conservation and conventional tillage on soil and rhizosphere microorganisms was studied. Conservation tillage stimulated rhizosphere bacteria on winter wheat, winter barley, winter rye and maize in different soil layers. Particularly the populations of Agrobacterium spp. and Pseudomonas spp. were increased. On the sandy loam, N2 fixation and nodulation of pea plants were significantly increased. No influence of different soil tillage was determined on the colonization of the rhizosphere by mycorrhiza and saprophytic fungi. Stubble residues infected with Gaeumanomyces graminis were infectious for a longer time on the soil surface than after incorporation into the soil.

    Description / Table of Contents: Abstract It is reported on uniaxial compression experiments with polyoxymethylene at room temperature. The microstructure of the cold worked samples was investigated by X-ray analysis. Furthermore, the relaxation stress following heating the samples was measured. For small compressions only a instantaneously reversible deformation of the amorphous matrix of the spherolithic microstructure can be observed. Forλ〈0,95 interlamellar shearing and reorientation of the lamellae occurs. Later additionally chain slipping within the lamellar regions begins, leading to a shearing of the lamellae into the chain direction {110} [001] in the region 0.6〉λ〉0.3. For the mostly deformed samples a transformation of the structure from a lamellar to a fibrillar one was detected. From the deformation and relaxation behaviour it could be concluded on the volume of the microcrystallites, which represent the knots of a hypothetical network.
    Notes: Zusammenfassung Es wird über Druck-Stauch-Experimente an Polyoxymethylen bei Raumtemperatur berichtet. Die Struktur der Umformlinge wurde röntgenografisch untersucht; ferner wurde die Relaxationsspannung bei Erwärmung gemessen. Bei kleinen Stauchungen beobachtet man lediglich eine spontan-reversible Deformation der amorphen Matrix des sphärolithischen Ausgangsmaterials. Für λ〈0,95 beginnt interlamellare Scherung und Lamellenumorientieren. Später tritt zusätzlich Kettengleiten in den lamellaren Bereichen auf, was im Bereich 0,6〉λ〉0,3 zu einer Scherung in Kettenrichtung {110} [001] führt. Bei noch stärkerer Deformation tritt eine Lamellen-Fibrillen-Transformation auf. Aus Deformations- und Relaxationsverhalten kann auf das Volumen der Mikrokristalle geschlossen werden, die die Knoten eines hypothetischen Netzwerkes darstellen.
