Notizen: Bis-Crown Ethers of TalopyranoseThe syntheses of mono- and bis-crown ethers of talopyranose 3a, b and 5a, b are described. A ‚sandwich effect′′ is not observed during complexation of tert-butylammonium rhodanide with 5a, b. The corresponding Ka values are surprisingly low. The ammonium ion seems to associate with the ligands preferentially from the ß face.
