Notes:
Balance of Transesterification of Natural Oils to BiodieselTheoretic relations were derived, which are necessary for the calculation of the optimal course of transesterification of plant oils and animal fats to form ecological products such as biodiesel fuel or lubricants. Advantages of one- and two-step transesterification courses are discussed. The relations derived were practically used for the model system rape oil-methanol-potassium hydroxide.
