2-Isocyanatoethyl 6-Isocyanatocaproate from €-Caprolactam and 2-AminoethanolHeterogeneous esterification of 2-aminoethanol hydrochloride with 6-aminocaproic acid hydrochloride produces 2-aminoethyl 6-aminocaproate dihydrochloride 1 in high yield. Phosgenation of 1 gives teh new diisocyanate, 2-isocyanatoethyl 6-isocyanatocaproate (2. Treatment of 1 with sodium hydroxide yields 6-amino-N-(2-hydroxyethyl)caproamide (7). Reactions of 2 and 7 are discussed.

Durch heterogene Veresterung von Aminoäthanol-hydrochlorid mit 6-Aminocapronsäurehydrochlorid läβt sich in hoher Ausbeute 6-Aminocapronsäure-2-aminoäthylester-dihydrochlorid (1) gewinnen. Phosgenierung von 1 ergibt das neuartige aliphatische Diisocyanat 6-Isocyanatocapronsäure-2-isocyanatoäthylester (2). Behandeln von 1 mit Natronlauge liefert 6-Amino-N-(2-hydroxyäthyl)capronamid (7). Reaktionen von 2 und 7 werden beschrieben.
