Notes:
Four kinds of disulfides in organic compounds were sensitively detected in NH4OH-NH4Cl (0.2 M)-Co2+ (5 × 10-4 M) solution by differential-pulse polarography. This detection mechanism was based on the Brdicka reaction. A new flow-through cell (on-detector reactor) was used to combine the polarographic detection with high-performance liquid chromatography. The detection limit for dithioglycolic acid was 1 × 10-4 M using 10 μl samples.
