    Notes: In seinem neuen Werk Heil als Geschichte eröffnet Oscar Cullmann das Kapitel über ‘Paulus und die Heilsgeschichte’ mit folgenden zugespitzten Sätzen: ‘Hätte ich dieses Buch, das ich unabhängig von den gegenwärtigen Diskussionen bereits vor Jahren geplant habe, damals schon geschrieben, so wäre es mir sicher nicht in den Sinn gekommen, in einem dem Apostel Paulus gewidmeten Kapitel die Frage zu stellen, ob dieser heilsgeschichtlich denke. Ich hätte mich darauf beschränkt, seine heilsgeschichtliche Sicht darzustellen, da die Vorfrage, ob seine Theologie überhaupt heilsgeschichtlich ausgerichtet ist, mir als...überflüssig erschienen wäre...’ Indessen wirft uns das 4. Kapitel des Römerbriefes—in dieser Hinsicht keineswegs alleinstehend, sondern für die Denkweise des Paulus exemplarisch—mit voller Wucht auf eben jene Vorfrage zurück.

    Notes: Abstract Laser recanalization of peripheral artery occlusions was performed in 338 patients. A continuous wave Nd-YAG laser was used in combination with ‘sapphire-probe’ laser catheters. The initial recanalization rate was 85%. Complications such as dissections, perforations, emboli and spasm were observed in 14%. The cumulative patency rate after 3 years was 48%.

    Notes: Zusammenfassung Es wird von einer Kaposischen Krankheit bei einer 75 jährigen Frau mit Befall des Gesichtes, des Rumpfes, der oberen Extremitäten und der inneren Organe berichtet. Der Prozeß wird als eine gutartige Gefäßgeschwulst aufgefaßt und zu den Hamartomen gerechnet. In Milz und Leber wurden multizentrisch entstandene maligne Entartungen gefunden, die das Bild des sarkomatösen Haemangioendothelioms zeigten.

    Notes: Abstract Purpose Evaluate efficacy and safety of short-term thrombolysis with recombinant human-tissue plasminogen activator (rtPA). Methods Thrombolysis with rtPA was performed in 29 patients with angiographically documented severe acute pulmonary embolism (Miller score of 20/34 or more). All patients received 100 mg rtPA through peripheral veins within the first 2 hr, followed by a continuous infusion of rtPA (0.05 mg/kg/hr) over a 4-hr period. Concomitant intravenous heparin 1000 U/hr infusion was applicated for the first 6 hr. Results Using this treatment, 83% of our patients showed clinical improvement objectified by the Miller score, by the clinical stage (Grosser), and by the pulmonary artery mean pressure (PAPm). The treatment regimen was unsuccessful if the clinical history lasted more than 3 days. Complications occurred in 10 patients (34%), and 3 patients (10%) died of acute right heart failure. Conclusion The success of rtPA treatment appears to depend on the interval between onset of symptoms and start of thrombolytic therapy. Otherwise the technique leads to objectifiable improvement within 6 hr with an acceptable bleeding risk.

    Description / Table of Contents: Perfluoroorgano Tellurium Compounds: New Investigations on the Preparation of Te(Rf)2 and CH3TeRf (Rf = C2F5, C3F7, C6F5)Methyl(perfluoroorgano) tellurium and bis(perfluoroorgano) tellurium compounds are synthesized in high yields from the photochemical or the thermal reactions of (CH3)2 Te with perfluoroorgano iodides in the presence of (C2H5)3N. They are isolated in pure states. Another general method for the preparation of bis(perfluoroorgano) tellurium is the thermal reaction of TeCl4 with bis(perfluoroorgano) mercury. The preparations and properties of the partially new compounds are described.
    Notes: Methyl(perfluororgano)tellur-und Bis(perfluororgano) tellur-Verbindungen werden durch photochemische bzw. thermische Umsetzungen von Dimethyltellur mit Perfluoriodorganica in Gegenwart von (C2H5)3N in hohen Ausbeuten synthetisiert und in reiner Form isoliert. Ein weiteres allgemeines Darstellungsverfahren für Bis(perfluororgano) tellur ist die thermische Reaktion von TeCl4 mit Bis(perfluororgano) quecksilber. Die Darstellungsbedingungen und Eigenschaften der z. T. neuen Verbindungen werden beschrieben.
