    Notes: Summary 4-Heptanone oxime has been used to separate trace amounts of silver from a reference standard nickel-copper matte. The silver was then determined by atomic absorption. An average silver value of 73 ppm was obtained compared to the recommended value of 66 ppm.

In einer Standardprobe, deren Palladiumgehalt mit 0,37 Unzen/Tonne angegeben war, wurden durchschnittlich 0,335 Unzen/Tonne gefunden.
    Notes: Summary The 4-heptanone oxime extraction procedure may be used for the quantitative separation of trace amounts of palladium from a noble-metals-bearing sulfide concentrate. An average palladium value of 0.335 oz/ton was obtained on a standard sample compared to the recommended value of 0.37 oz/ton.

    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Die Extraktion von Ag(I) mit Acetoxim, Methylethylketoxim, 3-Pentanonoxim und 4-Heptanonoxim wurde untersucht. Der Einfluß der Nitratkonzentration, der Acidität, des Extraktionsm'ttels und der Gleichgewichtseinstellung wurde beschrieben. Methylethylketoxim in Dichlormethanlösung erwies sich als hochwirksames Extraktionsmittel für Ag(I) aus schwach saurer, 0,5M Natriumnitratlösung.
    Notes: Summary The extraction of silver(I) with acetoxime, methylethylketone oxime, 3-pentanone oxime and 4-heptanone oxime was studied. The effects due to nitrate concentration, acidity, extracting solvent and equilibration time are reported. Methylethylketone oxime in dichloromethane was found to be a highly efficient extracting solution for silver(I) in weakly acidic 0.5M sodium nitrate solution.

    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Die Ergebnisse der Chloroform-Extraktion von Hg(II) aus wäßriger Salpetersäure und Nitratlösungen mit 4-Heptanonoxim als Komplexbildner wurden mitgeteilt. Der Einfluß der Salpetersäure, des Natriumnitrats, des Lithiumnitrats, des 4-Heptanonoxims und der Hg(II)-Konzentration wurden beschrieben. Messungen des Wiederfindungs-Faktors zeigen, daß mehr als 99% des eingesetzten Quecksilbers in der Größenordnung 100 mg/50 ml wäßriger Lösung extrahiert werden.
    Notes: Summary The results of a study of the chloroform extraction of mercury(II) from aqueous nitric acid and nitrate ion solutions employing 4-hep-tanone oxime as a complexing reagent are outlined. The effects of nitric acid, sodium nitrate, lithium nitrate, 4-hep-tanone oxime and mercury(II) concentrations are described. Measurements of recovery factors indicate that greater than 99% of the mercury(II) taken at the 100 mg level per 50 ml of aqueous solution can be extracted.
