Conclusions 1. The suitability of the gas chromatographic method for the quantitative analysis of ami no acids in the form of N-trifluoroacetylbutyl esters (TAB) was established. The accuracy of the method was determined at the stages of gas chromatography, production of derivatives, and ion exchange purification of the mixtures of amino acids. 2. The possibility of a precise gas chromatographic analysis of natural mixtures was demonstrated. 3. The energies and enthalpies of the interaction of TAB of a number of amino acids with polyethylene glycol adipate were calculated, and it was shown that in the separation of TAB on columns containing less than 1% polyethylene glycol adipate, there is an interaction of the TAB with the modified sorbent.
