Für die Trennversuche wurde ein GerÄt gebaut, bei dem Probengeber, SÄule und Detektor aus Pyrexglas bestehen. Als Detektor wurde eine WÄrmeleitfÄhigkeitszelle mit HitzdrÄhten aus Platin verwendet. Mit einem speziell konstruierten Probengeber konnten die festen Metallchloride dosiert werden. Als TrÄgergas diente Helium. An einer 2,5 m langen SÄule und mit einer Füllung aus synthetischem, hochgereinigtem Graphit (Korngrö\e 0,4–0,5 mm) konnten z.B. getrennt werden: AlCl3/GaCl3 bei 300
    Notes: Abstract It has been found that graphite is a suitable stationary phase for separating metal chlorides by the technique of solid gas chromatography. For the separations an all-Pyrex construction was used. The detector was of the heat-conductivity type with platinum filaments. A special construction permitted injection of the solid metal chlorides. Helium was used as carrier gas. The following mixtures could be separated on a 2.5 m column filled with synthetic, highly purified graphite (grain size 0.4–0.5 mm): AlCl3/GaCl3 at 300

    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Die Spurenelemente Cu, Zn, Fe, Mn und die Mineralstoffe Ca, Mg werden in zehn Getränken (Wein und Fruchtsäfte) sowohl mittels Ionen-Chromatographie (IC) mit post-chromatographischer Derivatisierung als auch Flammen-AAS in einem Methodenvergleich bestimmt. Es werden vergleichbare Ergebnisse erzielt, wobei das IC-Verfahren im Unterschied zur AAS keine Matrixeffekte aufweist und zur Simultanbestimmung geeignet ist. Die Proben können mittels IC auch ohne Aufschluß direkt analysiert werden. Die ermittelten Konzentrationen liegen zwischen 0,3 ppm (Cu) und 130 ppm (Ca).
    Notes: Summary The trace elements Cu, Zn, Fe, Mn and the mineral substances Ca, Mg were determined in ten beverages (wines and fruit juices) not only by ion chromatography (IC) with post-chromatographic derivatization but also by flame-AAS for comparison. Comparable results have been obtained, but the IC-method shows no matrix effects unlike the AAS and is suitable for the simultaneous determination. The samples may be directly analysed without decomposition. The determined concentrations are between 0.3 ppm (Cu) and 130 ppm(Ca).

    Description / Table of Contents: On the Reaction of Molybdenyl Nitrate with GraphiteMoO2(NO3)2 has been prepared by the reaction of MoC15 with N2O5 in carbon tetrachloride. The formula is in accord with chemical and thermogravimetric analysis data. Heating of MoO2(NO3)2 with graphite (60°C, 4 d) yielded samples of stage 3 MoO2(NO3)2-graphite, which were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction and chemical analysis. The sample with the highest molybdenum content is represented by the formula C28MoO2(NO3)2 · 0.3 N2O5. The distance between two intercalate layers was found to be di = 1462 pm.
    Notes: MoO2(NO3)2 wurde durch Umsetzung von MoCI5 mit N2O5 in Tetrachlormethan hergestellt. Die Formel ist in Übereinstimmung mit chemischen und thermogravimetrischen Analysendaten. Durch Erhitzen von MoO2(NO3)2 mit Graphit (60°C, 4 d) wurden Präparate der 3. Stufe von MoO2(NO3)2-Graphit erhalten. Die Probe mit dem höchsten Molybdängehalt entspricht der Formel C28MoO2(NO3)2 · 0,3 N2O5. Der Abstand zweier Intercalatschichten beträgt di = 1462 pm.

The crystals were prepared by reaction of N2O5 with ZrCl4. The product was sublimed and crystallised in nitroethane.
    Notes: Einkristalle der triklinen Verbindung NO2(NO)3[Zr(NO3)5]4 (a = 1376,3(6), b = 1376,9(11), c = 1632,0(7) pm, α = 114,63°(5), β = 114,90°(4), γ = 90,34°(5); P1, Z = 2) wurden röntgenographisch und schwingungsspektroskopisch untersucht. Die Verbindung konnte durch Umsetzung von N2O5 mit ZrCl4, anschließender Sublimation und Umkristallisation in Nitroethan erhalten werden.
