Abstract The influence of crystallographic texture on the fatigue of specimens of OT4 sheet alloy containing 4.02% aluminum and 0.87% manganese was investigated. It was shown that with close structural characteristics the main contribution to anisotropy of specimens of the investigated alloy is made by the crystallographic factor although it is less than in the case of elastic properties.
