Notes: Summary The minimal inhibitory concentrations of 173Staphylococcus albus-strains for 32 different drugs were established. All examined strains were derived from clinical sources and were isolated in U.S.A., Canada, Denmark, ČSSR and in Germany. The resistance patterns ofS. albus were dependent on the origin and on the date of isolation of the strains. No correlation could be found between antibiotic susceptibility and clinical diagnosis of S.albus-infections. The drug resistance situation ofS. albus proved to be in general better than that ofS. aureus.
