    Notizen: The conductivity of the metal-silicon nitride-silicon dioxide-semiconductor structure has been studied over a wide range of temperatures, 2–450 K, in a high electric field up to 8 MV/cm and magnetic field up to 70 kG. A strong positive magnetoresistance has been found at temperatures below 30 K. At temperatures of 30〈T〈250 K a weak negative magnetoresistance is observed. The existence of a positive magnetoresistance and its weak dependence on the magnetic field direction concerning that of current through a structure shows a hopping conductivity mechanism for silicon nitride film at temperatures below 30 K. Different hopping conductivity mechanisms in a high electric field have been discussed. The influence of a degradation process at T=4.2 K on the structure's conductivity has been investigated. Qualitative changes in the structure's conductivity during a degradation process have been found.

    Notizen: Abstract Using a semi-phenomenological model of the polarization response of an isotropic solid dielectric that does not resort to the slowly-varying-envelope approximation, we have obtained a nonlinear wave equation for the electric field of a femtosecond light pulse propagating in the given dielectric. Evidence is presented that this equation possesses breatherlike solutions in the region of anomalous group dispersion and does not have any solutions in the form of steady-state traveling solitary video pulses. A universal relation is found linking the minimum possible duration of a breatherlike pulse with the medium parameters. It is shown that such a pulse contains roughly one and a half periods of the light-wave.

    Notizen: Abstract On the basis of the polynomial approximation of the dispersion relation for gravity waves, a generalized version of Berkhoff's model for a non-stationary case has been obtained. The standard problem of the transition of a wave from deep water into shallow water in a basin with a slowly varying topography is applied to study analytically Berkhoff's model polynomial approximations. It has been demonstrated that all qualitative characteristics of wave transformation can be described in the framework of this model.

    Beschreibung / Inhaltsverzeichnis: Abstract We consider the behavior of incompressible two-phase flow in heterogeneous reservoirs with randomly placed heterogeneities; that is, in media with permeabilityA and porosityΦ which are stationary random fields. We assume both Darcy velocity and the diffusion flux being given nonlinear functions of the concentration. Using the tools of stochastic homogenization we get the nonlinear effective equations which govern the flow behavior in a homogeneous medium, being equivalent in the sense of homogenization theory, to the original one. Whenε is small the randomly heterogeneous porous medium behaves like a deterministic medium with effective permeability tensor Ao. It is shown how to calculate the effective permeability tensor Ao by solving auxiliary stochastic problems. Using the rescaling parameterε, corresponding to the characteristic scale of heterogeneities, we prove the convergence of the homogenization process forε → 0. Furthermore, by using regularity results for the nonlinear effective equations we construct the correctors and establish strong convergence.
    Notizen: Résumé On considère le comportement des écoulements diphasiques incompressibles dans un réservoir hétérogène avec les hétérogénéités placées aléatoirement; c'est-à-dire, dans un milieux où la permeabilitéA et la porositéΦ sont des champs aléatoires stochastiquement homogénes. On suppose à la fois que le vecteur flux de diffusion et la vitesse de Darcy sont des fonctions nonlinéaires de la concentration. En utilisant les techniques d'homogénéisation stochastique on obtient à grande échelle des équations nonlinéaires „efficaces“ décrivants un écoulement en milieux poreux equivalent à l'écoulement original dans le sens de la théorie de l'homogénéisation. Le milieu poreux aléatoire se comporte à grande échelle comme un milieux deterministe avec un tenseur „efficace“ de permeabilité A o , pourɛ suffisemment petit. Ce tenseur de perméabilité „efficace“ est calculé en resolvant des problèmes stochastiques auxilliaires. Lorsque le paramétreε, correspondant à l'échelle caractéristique des hétérogénéités, tend vers zero, nous montrons la convergence du processus d'homogénéisation. Finalement, en utilisant des résultats de régularité pour les équations „efficaces“ nonlineaires obtenues, nous construisons les correcteurs et démontrons la convergence forte.

    Notizen: Abstract It is shown that an adsorption field acting on a silicon-oxidized-porous-silicon-metal structure can create a “frozen” state with conductivity increased by a factor of hundreds or thousands. The effect is associated with the modulation of the channel conductivity of oxidized silicon filaments of fractal material by ionic charge migrating along the surface of the oxidized layer.

    Notizen: Abstract The electric conductivity and photoconductivity of μc-Si: H films weakly doped with boron increase upon exposure of the samples to light in the band of intrinsic absorption. It is shown that the effect is related to changes in the ambient medium, probably, to the photoinduced charging of oxygen molecules adsorbed on the μc-Si: H films.
