    Description / Table of Contents: Abstract The dissociation constants of O,O-dialkyl esters of aroylamido-thiophosphoric acids have been determined potentiometrically in ethanol-water mixtures. Some compounds of this group obey equation I*, others equation II**. The constants of these equations have been determined.
    Notes: Zusammenfassung Die Säuredissoziationskonstanten von O,O-Dialkyl-ester der Aroylamido-thiophosphorsäuren wurden in Äthanol-Wasser-Mischungen potentiometrisch bestimmt. Die experimentellen Angaben bestätigen bei einigen Vertretern dieser Verbindungsgruppe die Gleichung I*, bei anderen die Gleichung II**. Die charakteristischen Konstanten dieser Gleichungen werden ermittelt.

    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Es wird über die Synthese der bisher unbekannten Trithiopyrophosphonate (C6H5)(RO)P(S)−S−P(S)(RO)(C6H5) aus der entsprechenden thiophosphonigen Säure mit Morpholinosulfenylchlorid berichtet. In Anwesenheit von Triäthylamin bilden sich die bisher nicht beschriebenen S-Morpholino-dithiophosphonate, die dem angenommenen Reaktionsmechanismus nach mit Chlorwasserstoff und thiophosphoniger Säure die Trithiopyrophosphonate liefern. Als Vertreter der Schwefelchloride der Thiophosphonsäuren, die sich bei der Umsetzung von S-Morpholino-dithiophosphonate mit HCl bilden, konnte (C6H5)(C2H5O)P(S)−SCl isoliert werden.
    Notes: Abstract The synthesis of the unknown trithiopyrophosphonates, (C6H5)(RO)P(S)−S−P(S)(RO)(C6H5), which are formed by the interaction between the corresponding thiophosphonic acid and morpholinosulfenyl chloride, is reported. In the presence of triethylamine the reaction leads to the S-morpholinodithiophosphonates which, corresponding to the assumed reaction mechanism, gives, with hydrogen chloride and thiophosphonic acid the trithiopyrophosphonates. Among the sulfenylchlorides of the thiophosphonic acids which arise by the interaction of S-morpholinodithiophosphonates with hydrogen chloride, only (C6H5)(C2H5O)P(S)−SCl could be isolated.

Reaction between p-chlorobenzenesulfonyl chloride and sodium O,O-diethyl phosphorothioite proceeds anomalously: the expected O,O-diethyl (p-chlorophenylsulfonyl)phosphonothioate is not obtained. 2. The reaction products isolated were sodium p-chlorobenzenesulfinate, O,O-diethyl phosphorochloridothioate, bi-p-chlorophenyl disulfone, O,O,O-triethyl phosphorothioate, a substance of molecular formula C6H12O4SP, the structure of which was not established, and sodium chloride. 3. The main direction of reaction is the reduction of p-chlorobenzenesulfonyl chloride and the chlorination of sodium O,O-diethyl phosphorothioite.

Arylsulfonamides of EthylcyclohexanphosphonateThe synthesis as, well as the structure of the arylsulfonamides of ethylcyclohexanphosphonate are described, determining the later by physical and chemical methods. The title compounds are present in an amido-imidol tautomeric equilibrium which lies for an the site of the amidoform. It was established, that 1-6 are monobasic acids whose dissociation constants obey a combination of the ISMAJLOW-HAMMETT-equations.
    Notes: Es wird über die Darstellung von Arylsulfonamiden der O-Äthyl-cyclohexanphosphonsäure 1-6 berichtet und ihre Struktur durch physikalische und chemische Methoden ermittelt. Die Verbindungen 1-6 liegen in einem Amido-Imidol-Tautomeriegleichgewicht vor, das weit in die Richtung der Amidoform verschoben ist. Es wurde festgestellt, daß 1-6 monobasische Säuren sind, auf deren Dissoziationskonstanten eine Kombination der Ismajlow und Hammett-Gleichung anwendbar ist.

    Notes: Heteroorganic Substances LII. Amidothiophosphonic Acids and Their DerivativesThe synthesis of amidocyclohexanthiophosphonic- and amidophenylthiophosphonic-acids is described. The structure are determined by means of spectroscopical and chemical methods. These compounds 1-3 have not a bipolar structure, as assumed formerly [2] in the case of compound 3, but exist in a thiono-thiolo tautomeric equilibrium, which lies far on the site of the thiono-form. The alkylation of 1-3 with diazomethan gives S-methyl-, respectively O-methyl-derivatives. The alkylation of the ambident anions with CH3I gives only S-methylderivatives, whereas the acylation with CH3COCl occurs at the oxygen atom.

Geminal methylenic protons of the arylsulphonylamides of diethylthiophosphinic acid, of ethoxyethanethiophosphonic acid, of ethoxycyclohexanephosphonic acid, of ethoxybenzenethiophosphonic acid and the tautomeric N-methylated or S(or O)-methylated derivatives are diastereotopic, showing different chemical shifts and different coupling constants to neighbouring nuclei.
